1968 Ford Grand Torino GT Fastback

In 1968, the height of the American muscle car era, Ford designed the Grand Torino to steal the show from its competitors by creating a car so powerful and stylish that it would make every other car seem "common".

The Grand Torino was Ford's offering of a luxurious muscle car styled with an extreme sense of sex appeal which was emerging from the 70's. The Ford Grand Torino was designed to lure and captivate the hearts of the hard core street racer of the day.  It's high performance engine made it practically unstoppable and was sought after by American Street racers and NASCAR drivers alike.

This exemplary vehicle can be used as an everyday driver, taken on nostalgic cross-country road trips, used as a show car to accumulate trophies, or put aside to accrue in value as a collector’s car.

The power under the hood coupled with its extreme design gave it sex appeal which turned this car into the classic American muscle icon, which has since been featured in many American classics becoming the namesake of the movie ‘Grand Torino’ staring Clint Eastwood. A Candy-Apple Red Grand Torino with white GT racing stripes was the car of choice for America 1970’s TV classic ‘Starsky and Hutch’.

The Grand Tonino was marketed as a street racer that would win races. They were encouraged to be driven hard, and they were until there was not much left of them. Consequently very few survived the abuse of the teenagers living in America's fastest decade put them through making this well preserved American muscle icon extremely rare.

While the Mustang was a  massive success for Ford, it only ruled the Pony Car market, which did not impress the savvy street racers leaving Ford  with no street credence as a muscle car, so the Grand Torino was purposely born into greatness for it was designed with  striking power to  amaze the drag pack.

'Putting the car through quick and or tight corners isn't a matter of practiced art.
It's more like 2nd nature for the GT'.

Sound System

Unfortunately the original sound system has been outdated for decades. They were made of inexpensive materials and technology of that day only produced an acceptable sound.

This new sound system does not compromise the integrity of this era's style of stereo. Beneath its hardware is advanced audio technology delivering a fuller, richer sound with considerably more detail and nuance.

This stereo system gives its owners a level of enjoyment rivaling a High Definition home audio experience.
